Quantum Revolution
About the Workshop
The “Quantum Revolution” workshop helps teachers introduce students to the basics of quantum technologies and their applications in everyday life. Students will learn how quantum computers work and how they can revolutionise our reality. They will also learn about the board game “Quantum Trap,” which introduces basic information processing and quantum mechanics in an accessible way.
The workshop covers the following topics:
- The principle of quantum computers and their differences from classical computers
- Basic quantum phenomena such as superposition and entanglement
- Types of quantum computers
- The future of quantum technology and its impact on everyday life
Training materials
The workshop materials offer engaging and accessible content that teachers can incorporate into their curriculum on quantum computing. The presentation covers key theoretical concepts such as the basics of quantum computers, fundamental phenomena of quantum mechanics, and the differences between classical and quantum computing. These topics are complemented by practical examples of how quantum technology is applied in various areas of everyday life.
An additional component is the board game Quantum Trap, an engaging educational tool that combines learning with fun. Teachers are encouraged to download the materials and integrate them into their own teaching programs.
